Moving your college student in to a dorm is easy with this set- it has everything you need! The fuzzy blanket is light (better for warmer climates) and very soft. The bedspread is not overly bulky & spreads over the bed easily. Sheets are soft & comfortable. Mattress pad does not have elastic, it just lays flat on top of the mattress, but it does the job. The pillow is a little on the thin side & my son wished he brought his own pillow as well. The set looks sharp & classic. I only wish it had a pillow sham so it would look more like a complete bedding set. Son didn’t want to mess with one- so it’s probably best. We had it shipped to our house so we could wash & hang outside to dry to make it smell like home. However, if you need it sent directly, everything is packaged separately in plastic then comes in one box- the box was big but fairly light. Most dorms have XL twin mattresses, so this was just right!The bundle arrived quickly so it gave me time to wash everything before we packed up for college. It held up through the laundry and is really soft. I had the sheets and comforter all packed up and my son couldn't wait to use the comforter because it was so soft. He said he had to "break it in" before he left.The quality of the comforter is so nice. Sheets are thin so I did buy extra, but to have mattress cover and other extras was sooo worth the money!
