This is the very first mattress and box that I have ever had that was brand new. I just recently moved into a new apartment and was blessed to be able to buy all new furniture and decorative items. For the last 15+ years, I have not woken up without being sore all over and very stiff no matter where I slept. The first night I slept on this mattress, It was like sleeping on a cloud and I woke up without out one ache or pain. I have had it now for close to 2 weeks and every morning is an amazing and glorious morning! There is only one thing, but it was not enough to take a star off for and I am not even sure if it is the mattress or the sheets I have on the bed, but I am a hot sleeper anyway, but that part has not been alleviated. But like I said, I am not sure if it is the bed or sheets and I am leaning more toward the sheets. So, I did order one of those cooling gel pads to put on top of the mattress because I love the sheets, too! If you want to sleep better than you ever have and have problems with waking up sore and stiff, well worry no more.....this mattress is for you! I promise you that I researched for weeks and read every review on a million mattresses and finally decided on this one and am super glad I did. You will be extremely pleased after one night on this mattress! I cannot say enough about it! This one is the way to go!!This is great, I had gotten the Bentwood Home 13" Gel Foam Mattress about 4 weeks before this one and it was great at first but I found that because it had no support beneath the gel foam, sitting up in bed was nearly impossible I would just slide down again, and I could not get to the center of the bed so I would nearly fall out of bed every night!! Also there was no support on the sides so when I would go to get in or out of bed I would literally slide to the floor. But knowing this information led me to the Hybrid Mattresses,the Continental is MADE IN THE USA and has all the support to comfortably allow me to sit up in bed,move to the middle and the sides are supported so I can sit on the edge of the bed to get dressed or when and it gives me all the perks of the gel foam. Having the Steel springs really adds to the back support but I do not feel any movement from my partner at all. I subtracted one point because it could be just a little softer, so I am going to add a 3" gel foam top that will make this IDEAL, for under $500.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's a really nice bed. My wife thinks it's a little on the firm side but I think it's really comfortable. I guess that would be my only real complaint about it so far since most of the reviews seemed to say that it was pretty soft. I think that for the price it's not bad at all. We had it in our spare bedroom until I swapped them and before that she asked me to ship it back because it was too firm. I told her to let me put it in our room and we would sleep on it for a week and then she could decide. She seems to have changed her mind because it's been about a month and I've heard no complaints.My husband and I were recently looking for a new mattress and box spring. We checked out Macy's and a localbedding store. Both had great mattresses which were in the $2,000.00 range. Friends of ours purchased a setfrom Amazon and were very happy with it. We looked and saw this mattress and box spring set. We bought aKing size. Unfortunately, the shipping box was damaged and a large hole was punched though the containerand into the top of one of the box springs. Amazon is sending a replacement. We have used the damaged setand have found it extremely comfortable! If you are in the market for a new bed, this is great one! VERY happywith the quality, the price and the sleep comfort. If you buy this, you won't be disappointed!This bed is great, especially for the price. I am so happy with it so far. I sleep so well now. I'm not sure why, but it seems like the bed itself is huge and has lots of room. I got a Queen size. I couldn't be more happy that I bought this. I wanted a memory foam bed but I worried about being too hot or the bed being unstable. This bed is not too hot. Also, you can sit on the edge without it collapsing. I've had family lay on it, and they all love it too. So pleased with this purchase. I did notice that there was a smell to it, the first 24-48 hours, but it's gone away now and it wasn't that bad to begin with.Was nervous about purchasing a bed without ever feeling it first and based on the reviews, we ended up buying this one. We picked this one because all of the other Continental Brand mattresses had comments about the bed becoming noisy very quickly. We have had the bed for about a week and a half now, and there is already noise on the one side of the bed. I'm not too happy about that since I could have purchased one of the cheaper models or maybe even a different brand had I known this one had that issue as well. The best is very cushy, yet firm. Overall, the bed is very comfortable, I'm just unhappy that it makes noise only a couple weeks after getting it.I bought this mattress and box spring in queen size. It looks just like the picture. I am a side sleeper with a tender back. This mattress and box spring alleviated the pain. I'm very happy to have purchased this. This was purchased for my vacation home, which which I visit every month for a week or longer. I ranted and raved about this bed so much to my husband that we purchased this in a California king size. The California king size is blue. My husband tosses and turns all night and also has a tender back. He loves this bed.Shipping and customer service is excellent. Very happy with that. The quality is good, it was packed very well. Not very heavy, I could move it myself with ease.The mattress is a little softer than I am used to. It is comfortable and well made. I would recommend this mattress and box, excellent value.
