The packaging for this bed was IMMACULATE. I have been in shipping and receiving for years, but this thing takes the cake on packing. I legitimately stopped unpacking to take pics of how well it was done.I will say, the ONLY thing I don't love about this bed is that the drawers, while they lock in place and you can barely tell that they are storage bins, they are a pain to align back in to lock. That being said I think the design is pretty good, and it's being used as a guest bed, so I think it's awesome as I've used the storage bins for the bed as storage for extra bedding so that I can easily keep everything neat and ready to swap out as someone leaves and we have another guest.Frame is actually metal underneath unlike many storage beds I have seen, and feels sturdy, and headboard will accommodate 2 heights if you have a thicker mattress as well. The wood slats worry me a bit on how long they will last as they are held into the frame by cheap plastic cap, but for the price, I can't really complain!!For the most part, I would give this product a 5 out of 5. The frame looks amazing, the space if afforded me was great, and it held my sheets very snugly. The blanket, when tucked under the mattress, looks nice and seamless with the bedframe. Did I mention that it's extremely easy to make the bed with this frame? It is almost like the design is made to help you. I now make the bed in a fraction of the time. However, there is one detail about the bed that I do not particularly like. The drawers, while space efficient, are incredibly time consuming to put back as they each have to be clipped back in a small slot that is incredibly hard to line up with. But if you can oversee this small issue this is a great product and is worth the price.Fits a full XL which is what I wanted. Only irritating thing (only because my teen is lazy!) are the drawers don’t line up to hook them into the frame if you don’t open them straight. It’s super easy even on my thick carpet to do it right, but the teenager just doesn’t take the time. Exactly what we wanted for his room. I wish it were 6 inches higher off the floor, you can add mattress height but you loose headboard that way, making the headboard seem short even at the highest point.I assembled this quickly with the included tools. No power tools are necessary. All pieces were present and well labeled. Instructions were clear. I tried jiggling and pushing on the bed prior to adding the mattress and was amazed at zero unintended movement. I did have to switch 2 drawers around for everything to align in the attachment slots on the frame (a nice feature that perfectly aligns the drawers and disguises them to look like simple panels). I'm unsure if I mixed them up when I unpackaged or if they were already mis-matched. It should be simple to partially dis-assemble when it comes time to move.So easy to put together, I did it all by myself in about 2 hours. All the parts were there it even had extra parts just in case. Instructions were clear and to the point! Very sturdy, no weird smell, and came fast. Very happy with my purchase, been wanting a bed frame like this for a long time and I am so glad I got this one. Saved me a lot of money also, great value for the price. Love the 4 drawers under the bed also ! Great for pjs, extra blankets, and sheets etc…Been using it for a month so far and satisfied with our purchase.Pros: This bed frame was VERY easy to assemble. Instructions were simple; it came with all the necessary pieces and tools. It was heavy ofc, but even as a female, I could drag it in from the door. Most of the assembling you could do with one person. Having a second person is very helpful towards the middle steps (when you're connecting the headboard to the sides or footboard to the sides). Love having the roll out drawers underneath for extra storage! For the design, extra storage option, and price...I'd say this frame was worth it.Cons: Because it was mailed, there's some damage to the pieces (1-2 pieces slightly bent, but hasnt had any significant effect on the sturdiness). The drawers are also a wired design shelf (instead of a solid drawer) so you're unable to store small items. 1-2 screws also didn't go in all the way, which is annoying (but again, has had no effect on the sturdiness). FYI, you prob would have to get a floaring nightstand/shelf since the drawers come out.The bed is sturdy and shipping was on time.However, the drawers didn’t fit in the bed. The slacks also didnt fit. Requested a return which was a hassle.I googled the assembly procedure and found a youtube video.That helped a lot. I was able to reassemble the bed correctly on the third try!It looks good. Does not look cheap and after almost two weeks it seems sturdy enough. I like all the drawer space, The first time I ever built something with a lot of hardware and I was glad the instructions were easy enough to follow! I Don't know if I would buy it again but I am more than satisfy with my purchase. I would recommend it to someone else.
