I just purchased a Sleep Innovations 12 inch King Mattress and wanted a good cover to protect it. The Mattress, being memory foam, is resistant to Bed Mites and I consider it a plus that this cover is Resistant to Bed Mites as well. As my title suggest, I like the idea of protecting my investment in a new mattress - It came quickly as promised and it fitted perfectly. After sleeping on it, I agree that there is no difference in comfort. It's like it's not there! I can't comment on the protection from spills, but judging from the waterproof barrier and quality of construction, I expect effective protection. My wife is very nick picky and the fact that she didn't complain about it is a testament in and of itself! Also the 15 year warranty is a plus!
