I'm so happy with this purchase. I didn't know such a thing existed until we tried to force our old box spring up the stairs in our house (which is old) and we damaged the stairs and put a hole in the wall! I read so many reviews of squeaky steel split mattresses that I was discouraged, and then I found this, which is more like a traditional box spring. It's exactly what we needed. Two boxes arrived, one with each piece of mattress inside, and the boxes were intact and undamaged. The contents were in great shape as well. No complaints here!I bought this for my son for his new home after we realized his box spring wasn't going to make it through the narrow staircase. It not only fit great he said it really added comfort to his bed as a great support to his mattress. Doesn't separate, was lightweight to move and the perfect solution for him.I love this. I had to buy a split box spring due to my narrow steps. This worked out great and fits my queen bed perfectly. I have a heavy memory foam mattress and there are no issues with the weight of my mattress on top.Perfect fits my queen frame like a gloveI don't know about the box spring but when the CEVA delivery truck dropped it off, in the snow, knocked down our Cable lines from my neighbors driveway (I don't understand why they were in her driveway) and kept on going. My neighbor caught it on her ring camera.Great alternative to a single box spring, but careful when handling it and using it. The frame broke the third time we used it just from sitting down on the bed..The mattress is very sturdy.Delivered on time and good quality
